A certified Jamaican herbalist preparing traditional plant remedies.
Traditional knowledge · Modern evidence

Some things your elders knewbefore the research caught up.

Herbal medicine isn't an alternative to knowing your health. It's what you do with that knowledge. Book a consultation with a certified Jamaican herbalist — alongside your lab results, not instead of them.

Why these two things belong together

The knowledge was always here. Now we can verify it.

Jamaica has a deep tradition of herbal medicine — moringa, cerasee, search-mi-heart, soursop leaf, guinea hen weed. These plants have been used for generations to manage blood sugar, reduce inflammation, support immunity, and address hormonal imbalances. Many Jamaicans grew up with them. Many still use them alongside or instead of pharmaceutical treatment.

For a long time, that knowledge and clinical medicine existed in separate worlds. The herbalist didn't know your HbA1c. Your doctor didn't ask what bush you were drinking.

LifeVitals changes that equation. When you know your actual blood markers — your glucose, your inflammatory levels, your thyroid, your liver function — a herbalist consultation becomes something it couldn't be before: specific. Not "try some cerasee for the sugar." But here is your reading, here is the trajectory, here is the plant-based intervention that addresses that specific pathway, and here is what to retest in 90 days to see if it's working.

The consultation isn't a rejection of conventional medicine. It isn't a promise that herbs cure everything. It's the application of generational knowledge to a specific health picture that, for the first time, you can actually measure.

"The elders knew. Now we can measure it."
🌿Cerasee & soursop— researched for blood sugar and inflammatory pathways
🌱Moringa— documented nutritional density and immune support properties
🍃Guinea hen weed— traditional use for pain, inflammation, and immune regulation
🌾Search-mi-heart & search-mi-soul— traditional cardiovascular and stress support
What the consultation covers

Three areas. One conversation.

The herbalist consultation is built around your specific health picture — ideally after receiving your LifeVitals results, so the conversation can be as targeted as possible.

01

Your results, interpreted through the plant world.

Your herbalist reviews your Clariti summary and lab values and maps them to the traditional Jamaican and Caribbean plant pharmacopoeia. Which markers were flagged. Which plants address those pathways. What the evidence base looks like. Not folklore — a structured recommendation grounded in your actual readings.

02

A personalised herbal protocol.

You receive a specific, written recommendation — which plants to use, how to prepare them, in what dosage, and for how long. Not a general list of "good herbs for blood sugar." A protocol built for your results, your lifestyle, and the conditions common to the Jamaican population your herbalist understands intimately.

03

What to watch, and when to retest.

Every consultation ends with a clear follow-up plan — which markers to watch, when to retest (typically 60 to 90 days for metabolic markers), and what would constitute a meaningful response. Herbal medicine works slowly and consistently. The only way to know if it's working is to measure.

Who this is for

You don't have to choose between traditions.

The herbalist consultation is for anyone who wants to incorporate traditional plant knowledge into their health practice — with the specificity that only comes from knowing their numbers.

🌡️

Managing a chronic condition with plant support.

Diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol — conditions where conventional treatment is working but you want to understand what complementary support is available. The herbalist works alongside your doctor, not against them. Your lab results are the shared reference point.

🔬

Something was flagged and you want natural options.

Your results showed a borderline value — pre-diabetes, elevated inflammation, a nutritional gap. You're not at the point of needing medication but you want to act on it. This is the exact window where herbal intervention is most effective — and most verifiable.

🧬

A family history that you want to address early.

Your results are fine — but your family history of diabetes or hypertension makes you want to be proactive. Preventive herbal practice is where the tradition is most evidence-aligned. Starting before there's a problem is the whole point.

🌿

Already using bush — wanting to use it right.

You're already drinking cerasee or moringa or something your grandmother recommended. You want to know if it's actually doing what you think it's doing, whether the dosage makes sense, and whether it's interacting with anything else you're taking. The consultation makes what you're already doing deliberate.

How it works

Four steps. One informed conversation.

The consultation works best when it follows your LifeVitals results — but it's available to anyone, regardless of whether you've screened with us.

01

Book your session.

Choose an available slot. In-person or virtual — both options are available depending on the herbalist's schedule. You'll receive a confirmation and a short pre-consultation form.

02

Share your health picture.

The pre-consultation form covers your health history, any conditions you're managing, medications and supplements you're currently taking, and any specific concerns. If you have LifeVitals results, upload your PDF — the herbalist will review it before your session.

03

Your consultation — 45 minutes.

A focused, one-on-one conversation with a certified Jamaican herbalist. They've reviewed your history and results before the session. You discuss what was flagged, what your goals are, and what a plant-based protocol looks like for your specific situation.

04

Your written protocol.

Within 24 hours of your session, you receive a written herbal protocol — specific plants, preparation methods, dosage guidance, duration, and a recommended retesting timeline. Something you can follow, not just read.
